This August, with the support of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, we will be bringing Nigerian Cultural Finesse to the Royal Borough of Greenwich as part of our efforts to cement the RBG as a place where creativity and cultural connections flourish.
This festival is 4-day food and drinks jamboree showcasing Nigerian culture as a holistic aspect of cultural display, using live music, movies, documentaries, theatre and cultural displays, exhibitions and seminars.
It is a festival across 4 different venues of the RBG to showcase the predominant diverse Yoruba, Benin, Igbos, Ijaws, Hausas/Fulanis and the Efik ethnicities of Nigeria and celebrate Nigeria’s culture, through cultural displays, dance, seminars, theatre, and s a documentary on Nigerian and British cultures, in Kidbrooke, Eltham, Abbey Wood and Shooters Hill areas of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
The Nigeria population of the Royal Borough of Greenwich have influenced the cultural remit of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, whereas this event is an effort to foster relationships between British and Nigerian cultures with the motive of positively influencing the Royal Borough.
