Gene, DNA and RNA

DNA is the molecule that is the hereditary material in all living cells. DNA is regarded as the blueprint to life. The stuff that determines everything about you.

While only 1.2% of DNA itself is what has been analysed, it has already given us so much knowledge about life and how we exist.

Genes are made of DNA, and a genome is simply the sum total of an organism's DNA.

Your body constituents have already been mapped through The Human Genome Project; an international research project that sequenced all of the genes found in humans. This ambitious project began in 1990 and concluded in 2003. The achieved goal of the project was to accurately sequence the 3 billion nucleotide base pairs in the human genome.

The Genome Project maps the entire human gene and its entire sequence fills like 800 copies of the bible, which presently helps humanity to take a proactive action against potential diseases.
